Easily search files with this app

The Everything app is a helpful program that allows you to find files on your computer as fast as possible. It lets you locate files and folders by name, so you don’t have to browse for them. However, launching the app every time you want to find files can be a hassle. With EverythingToolbar, you can now find files straight from your toolbar. This utility app integrates Everything into your Windows toolbar, replacing the common search feature.

What is EverythingToolbar?

EverythingToolbar lets you locate files, folders, and more from the Windows taskbar. As noted, it utilizes the same technology as the Everything app, letting you search files by name. The app permits simple and fast file searching and indexing, so you can find the files you are looking for without becoming frustrated by how long the search takes place. More than that, the app comes with a file-sharing function, allowing you to share files with others.

Furthermore, the app can also help you gain access to various menus, options, apps, and functions. As with file searching, you only need to provide the name of the app that you are looking for. With this, you no longer need to search for them by browsing through your computer. You only need to click on your toolbar to get to them. Note, however, that you need to have those apps installed on your computer.

Users also need to note that you need to install the original Everything app on your device. EverythingToolbar only adds its functionality to your taskbar, replacing the common Windows search function. It does not automatically add the original app to your computer. To use it, you have to extract the contents, run the install.cmd as admin, and enable the app via the context menu of the taskbar

Simple yet helpful

At a glance, EverythingToolbar seemed to be more of an addon to the Everything app rather than an independent program. Still, it helps make the Everything app better by bringing new functionality to it. It may be on the simple side, offering one function, but it can contribute to your productivity. It is something that users will definitely appreciate. More, it is efficient and simple to use, and that is what ultimately matters.

In Softonic we scan all the files hosted on our platform to assess and avoid any potential harm for your device. Our team performs checks each time a new file is uploaded and periodically reviews files to confirm or update their status. This comprehensive process allows us to set a status for any downloadable file as follows:

Clean

It’s extremely likely that this software program is clean.

What does this mean?

We have scanned the file and URLs associated with this software program in more than 50 of the world's leading antivirus services; no possible threat has been detected.

Warning

This software program is potentially malicious or may contain unwanted bundled software.

Why is the software program still available?

Based on our scan system, we have determined that these flags are possibly false positives.

What is a false positive?

It means a benign program is wrongfully flagged as malicious due to an overly broad detection signature or algorithm used in an antivirus program.

We’d like to highlight that from time to time, we may miss a potentially malicious software program. To continue promising you a malware-free catalog of programs and apps, our team has integrated a Report Software feature in every catalog page that loops your feedback back to us.

Flag any particular issues you may encounter and Softonic will address those concerns as soon as possible.
